    Removal of battery and HWMonitor?

    I had my battery removed today and when launching HWMonitor it doesn't display the nVidia card.

    How come?

    Oh, I think I made a misstake? The nVidia card shows up when gaming or using the card right?

    Yeah, you're right. The Nvidia card will only appear when you are using it, like in a game or another program you have chosen to use it.

    yes its because of optimus shutting the nvidia card down when your not doing anything graphically intensive
