I have been having issues with my M11x R2, i suspect that it is the integrated GPU which is faulty, and my uncle who is a certified Dell technician also agrees. This basically means, it needs a new motherboard.

I'm still within the 21 days grace period, i have like 5 days to decide if i want a refund on this, or should i just get the motherboard replaced?

I got this for a really good price so i don't really want a refund, but at the same time I'm not sure how i can trust a laptop which burnt-out the integrated GPU within 2 weeks.

What should i do? Do i have any other options?

Sounds like this is an anomaly. Few here have reported this problem. If it were me I'd get it fixed. Of course, it'll still be under warranty. There are plenty of stories of people who kept getting part after part replaced and ended up finally getting the whole unit replaced.

Get a refund mate, it's a new machine! Electrical components like a CPU or GPU should have 100% reliability all of the time in the machines life span.

I'm talking from recent experiences with Dell / Alienware support. it all started about 5 days after I got my system. My keyboard was faulty which I lived with and got a repair from Dell. 3 months down the line the hinges cracked, rubber feet fell off and the system kept freezing!

I contacted Dell 5 times for support and eventually I hit them with the Sales of goods Act 1979 and 1984, not fit for purpose, they backed down and gave me a complete refund. Dell hell isn't the word they gave me a right run around from call center to manager to tech support, I complete nightmare.

Good luck with your refund, remember always ask to speak with a manager or someone that can make a decision, otherwise they palm you off with dodgy secondhand parts and repair.
