So I was going through the invoice for my m11x r3 and realized that it said i5 2537m. But my laptop has an i5 2467m instead. I didn't even know until now since they emailed my invoice to someone else initially, and I just received it today after asking them for it. I purchased my laptop In September 2011 by the way. I was wondering, is there a significant difference between these two processors? And which one is better? Do you think I should ask them to replace my i5 2467m with i5 2537m?

A cursory (web search tool of your choice) to the Intel website would tell you that the 2467m is faster, with greater onboard graphics and a better bus. Therefore you got upgraded. Suggest you spend 10 mins having a look at the specs of the two before raising a complaint!

The 2537M was the older revision that was in the M11x R3 at release they recently upgraded the I5 to the 2467M and the I7 from 2617M to 2637M so it just sounds as though it is a mistake on the website as all new R3 are being shipped with the 2467M now.

It doesn't change the fact that you thought you were going to recieve a lesser model for the price you paid and did actually receive a better model at the end of the day :) win win!

Yup when they discontinued the R2 (in September 2011) they 'upgraded' the R3 i5. You would have placed your order before they changed it, but they implemented it somewhere between your order processing and assembly.
