    Hello all,

Just wanted some input on whether these disk benchmarks are reasonable for an OCZ Vertex 2 SSD. Thanks for letting me know.

Better than me ultima, I have the corsair f160. Its a sandforce and my results are appalling :( :( :(

I've included Crystal disk info as I couldn't believe how poor my results are. Anyone have any ideas on how to improve this?I'm particularly worried about the raw read data error rate being over double its supposed threshold

choose 0x00 test mode in file menu of crystaldrive mark the random tests is uncompressed data. The standard test is the 0x00 test also Ive tweaked every possible thing in my os to achieve maximum speed on my ssd.

You guys should run the benchmarks at 50MB rather than 1000MB as writing gigs of info to bench the drive cause a lot of wear and could decrease performance. Remember that it's running the test 5 times and taking the best number so it essentially is writing 10GB for the Seq read/writes.

True statement that's why I only ran it twice, but 1000mb will give a more realistic score unfortunately.

Supposedly, these drives should be pretty healthy for up to 50,000 IOPS but I will definitely take your suggestion into account.

I simply needed to see whether my disk was running at its best.
