I was thinking of upgrading to the RealSSD C300. Does the M11x support SATA 6.0?

If not, it's backwards compatible with SATA 3.0 from what I know. Could someone verify that?

Bottomline, can I use that particular SSD?

    Thanks!

Yes it will run just fine on the SATA 3.0 spec. I would recommend the Intel Gen2 80GB drive. Under 200$ and its by far the best bang for your buck atm.

What do you do for all your games and everything else with a 80gb? do you just have an external and transfer? I want to do the SSD thing but I can't drop another 300.

I just got my Intel Gen2 80gb today, gonna install it Sunday or later. I don´t need more than 80gb of space, just have my music, some programs, wc3 basically. Using 25gb now but don´t have all my music though.

I am thinking of grabbing a 60GB OCZ Agility. 120$ AMIR and thats with next day shipping. Intel is a bit faster, but at 50% higher price, and only 20GB more of space, I don't see any reason.

OCZ Vertex Series OCZSSD2-1VTX120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

NewEgg shellshocker in canada $229 after $30MIR, less then $2 / gig, only couple hrs left though I think. I just bought one, I'll put it in my PC, and take my RealSSD c300 that's in my pc and put in m11 (it's 256g, I'll lose a bit of speed on the sata2 but I need the space)
