    Edit--

Changed the title and edited my post thanks to Megamilchmann for pointing out that there is now 64Bit compatible software so we can change timings without having to install a 32Bit OS. Only problem is.. I have no clue what i'm doing. I got the trial software to run by hitting F8 on boot up and allowing "Non Singed Certificates" to be run but i'm still not 100% if this will work. I'm happy to buy the software but I want to know how to flash our memory first.

Can anyone help? Come on lets pump our R2's past 166FSB :D

    Hi,

I use Thaiphoon Burner 7.X with Windows 7 64 bit - works fine!
You must only have the "full version" to get the "wrtie-timings-to-ram" option.

without timings-change i can go to 170 Mhz fsb.

with timings: 7-7-7-20 i can go to 178Mhz
with timings: 8-8-8-24 i can go to 180Mhz

    BUT:
I never get it to work stable - i dont know why..... Intel burn test works fine, when i start 3dmark it crashs imedtiatly...

dont forget: you slow down your ram!!!!

I dont know whether the few more mhz of CPU will compensate the slower ram timings.....!

Ok you dont need the paid for release, You can hit F8 at start up and select the option about driver signing and it will work. Just trying to figure out how to work the software as it is now able to write to the RAM.

Edit.. I need some help with this. I can see the CAS settings and know I cant go about 9 but the rest is going over my head!
