    How can I sustain a stable overclock I want to get the most out of my machine but my sytem crashes when I try and overclock it apologies as I know the basics of computer use and need advice on such things.

    When it crashes, dial it back in 2 MHz increments until it doesn't crash anymore.

    I.E. if you set your FSB to 166 MHz in the BIOS and it crashes, try 164 next time, etc.
