    R2 freezes when downloading!

    My r2 freezes and locks up (needing a hard reset) when I download files from the net, it mostly happens with Steam but that's cause that's where I do most my downloading from.

    Has anyone else had this issue? It happens if the system is oc'ed or not, so I know it's not an unstable oc. I've been in contact with Dell as it's still within it's warranty but they were absolutely no help and claimed it must be a software issue and not their problem (so much for the awesome next business day in home care!!)

    Any help anyone?

    This was discussed in depth about this time last year and there are quite a few threads about the fix. If memory serves disabling the DW WLAN Tray Service service or replacing the stock card with something else fixed the issue. You'll want to verify that with a search though as it's been a while and my memory isn't what it used to be.
