    Hello,

Recently I've noticed that if I overclock my R2 and once it starts check the bus speed using CPU-Z, the bus is at the default 133 MHz. I did make sure to save changes when exiting BIOS and I did go back to check whether the setting is saved, and it was.

My power setting is on power saver so I was wondering whether that had anything to do with the OC? I tried changing the setting but did not see a change in the bus speed using CPU-Z.

Is this an issue I should contact Dell over?

I have the exact specs as you and on power saver cpu-z shows 167.0 MHz on Bus Speed.

Its probably resetting back to default because it cant handle the overclock. Put the ram that came with your computer back in and see if it still happens.

^That's what I was thinking, but if he was able to reboot, get into the BIOS, and verify that it is still OC'ed, I don't think could be the case. If it was resetting, either it wouldn't show in the BIOS, or he'd notice it reboot past POST when it fails.

    Definitely strange

try swapping the positions of the ram? or try throttlestop to see if it makes a difference?
