For reasons unknown my M11x loads its integrated GPU without it manually being told to do so, this happens 50% of the time I boot up the system. It then fails to switch to the nVidia chipset unless I restart again.. This is highly annoying, wish I never reformatted in the first place. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I'm using BIOS A05 and the A02 nVidia driver.

I swear I watched it happen once, but only once. I'll switch back to Intel Graphics before I go home. Maybe I can get it to happen again.

Yeah some people have been having this issue with the new nvidia driver. As far as I know, no one has found a fix yet.

I've reformatted once again incase the problem is caused by a driver conflict. Last time I installed the nVidia driver before the intel chipset which apparently isn't the right way to do it.

I've got this problem; just re-installed the new nvidia drivers and it cleared up... for now. Didn't have this issue on the A01 driver.

Rolled back to A01 because it happened again.
