Hi guys. I've got my M11x connected via HDMI to my monitor. Usually when I do this, the sound comes out of my monitor, which is what I want. But for some reason it's still coming out of my M11x's speakers. Anyone know how to sort this?

EDIT: OK It's a driver issue.

I rolled back to the old beta driver and it works. Tried installing the newest driver, rebooted and device manager still lists the old driver version as active. So I wiped the drivers with driver sweeper, but the newest driver still refuses to install. What's wrong?

263.08 or whatever it's called. Stupid thing won't install in safe mode either.

Sticking to the 197 beta driver that's also on dell's support site for now. Runs Deus Ex ok so I'll live until I build my new PC next month.

OK, Just checking you were using a Discrete/Integrated nVidia version.
Have you checked the Audio 'playback Device' in the audio settings?

You will need to select the HDMI audio output option as opposed to the 'speakers' setting.
