    Hello all!

So, I ordered my M11x literally 5 days before the refresh was up. Sigh. Oh well, I am going to keep my R1 for a little while. It comes today. My question is this: Will I need to manually update to the newest drivers, or since its a 10 day old machine, will it already be updated?

    Also,

Im in the Air Force, and had no idea about the EPP. Can I call dell and get the 10% off the product that I should have gotten refunded? (I know it is a long shot, but I seriously had no idea about the discount. Only found this place after I was looking for an optimization for the M11)

If you did not use discount for the R1, you probably paid more than necessary. Requesting for a refund is probably not going to work. I'd say return it and get a R2. The Dell APO/FPO website leads to the EPP website, so you should be able to use the 10% EPP discount also. If you are going to call, make sure the sales rep give you the full 10%. If they try to bs you, give you less than 10% and claim that's the best price, get another sale rep. Remember (before you call) to get the $100 off code for systems over $1,000 and choose next day delivery (free for EPP).
