For those having trouble using the Quick Sync feature of the integrated graphics can read this and maybe get some help. Quick Sync is used to speed up encoding in programs like Arcsoft Mediaconverter and Cyberlink Mediaespresso among others. Well after updating to Windows 7 service pack 1 and using windows update to install the listed drivers from Microsoft I could not believe my eyes when these programs told me only Nvidia Cuda was available. Well after doing a whole bunch of not so obvious and very technical and complicated things over a period of three hours :) I finally said what the hell and installed the Intel integrated drivers from the dell web site... Problem solved...
Computers sure can make you feel dumb sometimes and I am a I.T. Admin lol.
I know purists will argue that Quick Sync's quality is very questionable but for some tasks it is useful. in addition I am one of those people who likes to know that my stuff can be utilised to it's full if still unnecessary potential.

This forum and it's members have been a very valuable resource in assisting me with my purchase... I thank you one and all...
