Everyone, I don't work with wireless often. I am more of a server guy.. with that said, I just picked up a new netgear wireless n router. I wanted to ask, what options within the advanced properties of the dw 1520 wireless half card do I need to enable to get the most out of the n wireless network?

    Thanks!

None, it should just work out of the box with an N network. It did on mine until i swapped it out for an Intel Ultimate 6300 N which is performing better than the original card.

Someone mentioned an option called 'Afterburner'. Go to the device manager, get to the WiFi card properties and set it to enable. I haven't noticed any difference since I'm always on a full signal, but supposedly... it helps with performance. :)

Thanks.. ! I already had afterburner enabled previously so I think I am good. I have options set to performance rather that broader compatibility!

Wait so does the 1520 N have 3 antennas or 2 and a blue tooth one to disable it?

The stock wireless card for the M11x is 2x2 with MiMo, meaning it uses two antennae. MiMo = Multiple in - Multiple Out.
