    Hi everyone!

First of, I would love to thank everyone because I definitely looked through dozens of threads on this site about the M11x and bought myself one based on everyone's opinions and I'm definitely happy with it, it's amazing!

However, my goal is to use this laptop for video editing. Now I'm not too sure if having the Optimus function kick in and having an Nvidia video card at the time of editing/rendering would help at all in any way.

If it doesn't, then disregard my question BUT if having the Nvidia card over the Intel card is beneficial while video editing in any way would anyone know what benefits? If it is to benefit also, does anyone have any idea how I could set up Optimus to kick in when I run, Sony Vegas Pro 9? I've tried adding Vegas to the NVIDIA control panel but I don't think it's compatible.

All I really want is to have no interface lag while editing and for the video to render as quick as possible.

    Thanks a lot everyone!

Add the .exe to the whitelist and select the NVIDIA High Performance Graphics in the control panel. If you haven't done so already.
Next open up the program, click the 'show hidden icons' arrow on the bottom right of your desktop toolbar. Click on the NVIDIA control panel and it should show that it is running with your added program. I not know how it would benefit you but that is how to get it running with your program.
