Hi I have an m11x and it is out of warranty...
Anyways my problem is once and a while the alienware logo with the alien (head) starts blinking. While it blinks, the screen goes blank and flickers with it. Then if I start messing with anything that uses the processor it will excessively start to blink and ends up shutting off. I am pretty sure it is not overheating because the laptop is at around 50 degrees Celsius when it happens...
I have run the diagnostics and it passes every test. I have updated the bios to A05 (this never happened with the A04 but not 100% sure that is the problem) I also have the 320gb toshiba hard drive with all the other recommended updates from dell. I have defragged the hard drive and run the error check. I can't seem to pinpoint the problem and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully it wont be too expensive... Thanks in advance

    Have you checked the RAM?
