I have an M11x R2 and have always used a 24" Dell monitor when at home. The last few months when I come home and hook up the M11x via the HDMI (HDMI to Monitor HDMI) and bring the computer out of sleep, the monitor just flickers and the parts of the screen go in and out. I have to restart the laptop to make it work. After the restart it always reverts to normal until next time I use the laptop and bring it home and hook it up and use it from standby/sleep.

It's gotten rather annoying and I would love to figure out how to fix it... Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Might try updating to the latest Intel HD driver that came out very recently if you haven't already.

Thanks Slickie, I will definitely give that a try. Should driver sweeper be used? If so can you remind me of the procedure as I haven't updated drivers (last was Nivdia and it was months ago) and I don't want to screw it up.

    Thanks!

IIRC, driver sweeper doesn't do Intel drivers. Just install it over what's there.
