When I press 3 fingers at the top of the mouse pad (not "tap" but "press"), notepad comes up.
I installed the latest Scrybe and just discovered this because you should be able to press 3 fingers with Scrybe to bring up the gesture box.
Weird, but a search on the internet reveals that this is a default "feature" on some mouse pads.
Do M11x standard installs have this feature? I never tried this BEFORE the Scrybe install.
Possible to change the setting from notepad to something else?

Doesn't do that on mine, but I don't have scrybe installed on mine, just the basic Synoptics driver

Interesting....I just installed Scrybe over the drivers which came with my R2, because the first time I installed it, I UNINSTALLED the Synaptic Touch pad, rebooted and when I tried to install Scrybe, it complained I did not have the proper hardware to run it. Everything seems to work fine except for the "notepad surprise". :)

Have you tried pressing with three fingers on top part of the touch pad, whenever I press on the top section of the touch pad the notepad comes up, whenever I press in the center of the touchpad the control panel comes up.

If you installed the synaptic drivers from synaptic's website instead of Dell's Support site, then "three tap down" is defaulted to opening Notepad (under every other application window, but nevertheless useful for me).
