I have an M11x R2 running 260.99, when i start portal 2 its a black screen, but i can here audio playing in the background.
If i switch to the intel card, everything is fine.

I upgraded to 270.61 to see if that would fix it, and it did, portal 2 runs fine.
But 270.61 broke nba 2k11, so i switch back.

Is there a fix so that i dont get the black screen with portal 2?

I have the same problem with WoW except in reverse. On the 270 drivers it is a black screen with audio but on the 260 drivers its perfectly fine.

Go to nVdia control panel, and set antialiasing to always off. Then start portal 2 and go to options and change anti aliasing from 4 to 2. Then exit portal 2, go to control panel again, set anti aliasing to application controlled, and voila!

It' due to the resolution of the M11x's screen and having AA at 4x. For some reason it just can't work with 1366x768 and AA at 4x. It like that with any game i have tried.

Interesting. Doesn't seem to be the fix for WoW. Good job though :) Guess its just the driver.

If there is no specific game that needs to 260 drivers I am using the beta(Newest ones, version escapes me atm) on my R2 and I just finished playing through Portal 2. Great game ran perfectly at 1600x900 with every thing high and triple buffering on. Only black screened when I changed the settings on the first run to make it look prettier. Alt-Tab and then back in fixed it
