My M11X is plugged in all night to download large files, and all the power settings are set to "Never" when plugged in. Yet every morning when I wake up I find that it powered off. And of course the file download is interrupted.

Any help would be appreciated - ?

Is the battery working properly? Have you tried leaving it on safe mode?

As far as I know no problems with the battery -- never gives me problems other than this issue.

How do I leave it in safe mode? Thanks a lot I appreciate the help

Just hit F8 until it gives you. It will give you a list of options choose Safe Mode with networking. Start thr download and leave it on over night. If it turns off could be as stated above, possible battery issues. If it doesn't then something in the OS is shutting it down.

Are you hitting it just once or are you continually pressing it? I find if you keep hitting it until the windows boot options loads up works. If you hit it once sometimes it doesn't register.
