    Overclocking the R2 for BF3

    has anyone OCed there r2, and noticed any difference in framerates that would justify me going through it? Just curious to see if its that big of difference and worth the trouble.

    My OCed R2 with ThrottleStop means the difference between running medium settings vs. high settings in Skyrim. Sorry I don't have actual FPS comparisons but there is definitely a significant discernable difference.

    I OCed my R2 i5 BIOS OC-160 and TS 30/30...my question is a temperature playing BF3...the max temp 83C ,its safe?here in Brazil so hot...and i clear my fans 3/4 weeks ago...so dust not problem!srry my bad english ;D

    Unless you start hitting 90C, I wouldn't be worried.

    Nothing to worry about... After an hour or so my temps will reach 87, with averaging at 84 or so.

    hmmm...thnks guys...so stay BIOS OC 160 and TS 30/30...other question,what settings "safe" to TS? what do u use?

    30/30 is what I'm using.
    Correct me if I'm wrong but there is no unsafe settings, since it won't affect the supply to the processor, just stop it throttling
