What is everyone using to OC their R1? I had an R2 before and that OC'd in the BIOS, this is obviously different. SetFSB?

R1 can only be OCed in the bios. OC is on or off - if on = 1.73 FSB may say 1.6 but my understanding is the reporting is not correct and it is actually 1.73.

you just enable it in the bios. It's really easy but doesn't leave room for you to play around. More time gaming less time configuring...

Wow, that's cool. My machine seems to take the OC nicely. Thanks!

Lucky. My first one cruised just fine with the OC. My replacement, not so much.

Actually, CPU-Z is reporting this correctly and it is only running at 1.60 GHz and not the promised 1.73 GHz. The bios locks the multiplier to 6.0 when overclocking.
