    So Nvidia just posted 266.35 beta up here

    But has this disclaimer "Notebooks supporting Hybrid Power technology with Intel chipsets are not supported by this release."

    Im d/ling it now and going to give it a shot but if it doesn't have the Optimus settings kinda a waste imo.

    Hybrid would be the R1. This ought to work for the R2.

    Just a update. I updated and they do have Optimus settings. These are giving me the same performance with the 266.44 Driver released by Kopicha here

    Only issue I am having is with FFXIV but I have had it since the 265 Community Release.

    BFBC2 works flawlessly.

    CoD4 kicked me out in record time due to 'disallowed program/driver'. But I realised the PB client needed an update so will try again.

    EDIT: Yep, kicked again; in record time. Barely got to choose teams annnd... out. Same error.

    Sadly it looks like Nvidia took the easy way out, i.e. resolve BFBC2 only, rather than PB as a whole. EA and other companies should stop showing co-operation for companies like 'Even Balance'.

    installed fine, bfbc2 has been running for a few hours now.. no kicks!

    So is there any difference between these drivers and the drivers posted by Kopicha? or are they identical? I have been waiting for months to update to a new driver. The games i play most often(New vegas, mass effect2,borderlands,bioshock 2,arkham asylum).

    These drivers don't seem to work well with GTA 4. They bring back the bug where it detects the wrong VRAM (of the integrated graphics instead of the GT335M) so it is unplayable :( Back to 260.99 for me.

    Heads up after installing these drivers I can no longer get the Witcher to start up. Gives me "Warning! Minimum system requirements are not met!" error message. Was running fine on 260.99 before, and made sure the .exe was whitelisted.

    For those of you taking the beta plunge and seeing problems with games, I hope you're reporting these issues back to nvidia. We'll never see a fix otherwise. ;)

    I believe he was saying that the R1 was the machine with hybrid graphics,which in turn means it is not compatible with this driver.

    Yea it really sucks a lot, and its a shame that Nvidia don't fix it. I get the same error. Hope it was fixed...I should have reported it to Nvidia.

    If you noticed the problem, doesn't it make sense for YOU to report it to Nvidia? Don't just sit back and wait for others. :) The more people that report it, the better chance there is that they will fix it.
