    Hi Guys,

As many of you might've seen, I spoke to Nvidia's PR directors and GeForce Engineers who told me that the Optimus fix release date could not be handed out to me (because I'm a member of the press) but would be very, very soon. In fact, they told me I should be "looking for it soon" (on quote).

But I've come to these forums for help actually. See, I'm a BFBC2 dude, and I pwn (rank 31, all weapons, constant headshots and backstabs). Like you, I'm pissed that the Optimus tech doesn't work with Punkbuster, but now I need you guys to help me out here.

I uninstalled my 260.99 drivers and went for the old, crappy 189.xx ones. Long story short, it said the GPU drivers could not find the compatible hardware, so thus I retreated.

This issue I've seen in many places, but I think it has to do with changing the .inf file. So, could anyone walk me through on how to get 260.99 drivers reinstalled? So far I've rebooted twice, used DriverSweeper, and to no avail has it reinstalled.

Keep in mind I'm using one of Alienware's "corporate test units" which is final hardware and software, and is the R2 version with Core i7, 500GB hard drive, and 4GB of DDR3.

I just installed the new drivers that Dell provides. Should I jump the gun and get the 260.99 drivers back?
