erm - are you sure they're compatible with the m11x? i've heard otherwise, because of the intel gfx chip :/

but when i launch batman..it run pretty smooth
look like the nvidia kick in
but i need to double confirm bout this before i release my fusion driver to all of you.

Yeah I don't think it supports the m11x R1 because of the hybrid graphics with the intel on board...at least thats what it says in the notes....

Any luck getting the new drivers to work on m11x r1? I tried your copy/paste method and got an error at the end of installation.

Well, thanks for trying. Is Dell good about staying current with nvidia's driver releases? I'd hate to think we're stuck with 197.16 forever.

lksing78, you may want to try the 258.49 drivers on the R1 as I have gotten promising results on my old (VPC) Vaio Z (modded for Hybrid Graphics use of course). I can use both GPUs (switch) and can go into standby and resume fine. There is a very odd random screen flicker problem I am running into though.

You should be able install the 257.21 with modded inf no matter what. You may not be able to switch between graphic modes. But, for us gamers I dont ever switch to the Intel anyway.

    Thanks, StevenX

So what driver are people actually using? Dell stock or some modded? I guess the m11x R2 people dont have that many options right now if they want the gpu switch to work.. but im interested in hearing what driver is best for you guys, thanks

This driver is on hondalife's thread NVIDIA optimus issues. Its the same driver with Nautis' modded inf.

Flicker seems like it may be due to powermizer. Disabling powermizer ended in no flicker but more heat for me.

EDIT: I am curious to test something on Optimus with an R2 user if anyone is interested drop me a PM.
