    Nothing on screen.

    I booted up the m11x R1 today and the screen does nothing. The computer runs, but that is it? Any ideas or am i stuck with calling dell?

    if you got warranty I would just give dell a ring.

    If you dont have warranty then I would recommend taking it apart and checking that the cable is still connected securely.

    Well, I got home and pulled the battery and let it sit for a minute. Working fine now. Hopefully it won't do it again, warranty only has about 2 months left though.

    Well since your so close to being out, I would of just left it and called dell. Worse thing that could happen is you get your computer fixed, best thing you get a r2 or r3 model as a replacement.

    Lots of people on here have gotten a r2 or r3 as a r1 replacement.

    If dell thinks your computer is beyond repair, they offer a replacement. Since they no longer make the r1, they give you a more updated model.

    Damn, i should have called dell for the last problem i got on my first R1 i bring back to the reseller :(

    my dude RMAed his refurb R1 about 2-3mths ago and got another R1. i think it may be due to availability on what you would get back.
