Installed Lost Planet 2 from steam. everything went fine. downloaded at about 1mb/s so wasn't to bad.
I launch the game and it as if i want to launch the dx9 version or the dx11 version.
I choose dx9 and nothing happens.

dxdiag shows that everything is enabled and working properly but even after reinstalling the latest dx redist and reinstalling the nvidia 265.90 its still no dice.
Q3 works fine, portal on steam works, 3dmark06 etc all working fine..
    What am I missing??

downloaded the lost planet benchmark which gives me the same launcher to choose dx9 or dx11 and i choose dx9. it runs the benchmarks flawlessly...
    Bench A = 51fps "B" rating
    Bench B = 31fps "C" rating
what am i missing? does the full game not detect the nvida?
I'm excited to play this but I'm left scratching my head..

Dell.Streak - not to send you elsewhere (plz dont kick me batboy) but the steam forums have a huge community for this game. It was not released in the US in brick and mortars. It was only a digital release here for pc. Not many folks play it in US. I would hit those forums and see what assistance you can get.
