iv just had dell come to fit a new screen after the hinge went on the old 1 (goto give a big thumbs up to alienware for there support ... called yesterday about it he said naext week soonest cause its new years , then the techy it knocking on the door about an hour ago to fix it) although he dus have to come back on tuesday because the plastic surround on teh new screen dusnt fix right .

but looking on here finding out 1 panel is only 3 makes, sumsung lg or aoe (or what it is) mine was aoe no iv checked the new 1 and its a seiko/epson panel which i must say is much better than the aoe thingy much sharper brighter no visable lines like my old 1 all in all much better screen (except for the plastic surround)
