    Do a search for 'MomentusXT' or 'hybrid'. There are a lot of threads on this already if you want more opinions and info.

    I like my hybrid drive. Common Windows tasks and boot up is much faster. Loading programs and playing games and that sort of thing is not. It is not slower, but it is not much faster (although it is 7200 rpm). I personally wanted a 500GB drive. Capacity was more important to me than anything else, so a true SSD was out of the question for my M11x.

    The way I look at it is that I got a 500GB drive, like I wanted, with the added bonus of common tasks and boot times being faster. Not too bad.

    I agree with the other thread you mentioned that if you only want 120GB, then SSD all the way. I personally wanted more storage capacity. What is more important to you? :)
