    New Hinge

    Well I was told that I couldn't get my new hinge until my original breaks. Is this across the board, or did I get jipped?

    strange. I called aw, told them i want my hinge replaced to the new design, the rep gave me a 'case number' or w/e you call it right away, without asking anything. try call again, find another rep i guess.

    When i called them they sent out a tech immediately.Though this was before Chris said to wait for the email thing.

    I would either...
    a) Wait for the hinge-related exclusive email address Chris said would be posted.

    OR

    b) Wait until you have a real issue with your hinge (creaking...pulling, etc.)

    Right now everything is still being figured out on Dell/AW's part, and everyone is trying to get it replaced and is probably the worst time to do so if not needed.
