Great, now for the past 2 or 3 days, I'm getting a new blue screen. Maybe 3 or 4 times now total.

Almost caught it last time, but it's completing a memory dump then restarting the computer.

The file showing is bcmw(4 numbers).sys

I couldn't write down the numbers fast enough.

    Any thoughts?

Search for the file and get it properties in order to determine what it is. Google says that's probably a Broadcom file. Do you have BT?

Yes but disabled on BIOS so that's ruled out.

I have temporarily removed the OC, so my last blue screen rules that out.

Ah, the ghost of windows crashed: the Blue Screen of Death.

I have similar problems with my older desktop, the Dell XPS 720. I get about 4 blue screens a day.

Firstly, what does the blue screen display? My common blue screens are: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and BAD_POOL_HEADER

Secondly, goto control panel>administrative tools>event viewer>Windows logs>system and post a screenshot of any red flags, which look like this (my system btw :( I'm almost certain I have a faulty MCH):

    BCMWL664.sys

    only it wasn't caps.

Guessing it has to do with my wireless drivers, now I REALLY wanna get the intel wireless... lol

    Alrighty, we'll try.

Downloading the ones from my account on dell, same version. We'll uninstall and reload and see if the problem persists.

Any difference with the HP ones you listed?
