Hey guys. Sorry for the constant posting with problems lately, but I don't know anywhere else to seek help.

I pulled out my m11x in class a few minutes ago and tried to turn it on, it came up with a screen saying that my battery level with critically low. I knew it wasn't because I had just unplugged it a few hours ago and hadn't used it since. So i pressed f1 and it kept booting, but when it got to the "loading windows" screen, it turned back off. When I turned it back on, it came up to a screen saying that windows didn't boot properly and that I should run Windows Startup Repair. I did this and it ran for about 20 minutes before finishing, and then my computer booted up just fine, but this leaves with me a question.... What's going on? and Is it fixed now?

Note: My girlfriend was using my laptop a couple of weeks ago and when I got home, she had it plugged into the charging cable for her laptop (a dell inspiron), I quickly unplugged it but it was plugged in to her charger for a couple of hours. Since then I've noticed that every time I disconnect my m11x from its power adapter and close the lid, the laptop always powers off, and then reboots telling me that the battery is low (but this is the first time that it has failed to turn on). So did she cause any damage by plugging in her inspiron's power adapter, and if so, is there anything that I need to do about it?

As always, thanks a ton guys, I really do appreciate all of the help that you guys give me.

i don't .think the charger exchange had any impact on the computer as long as it's one from dell.
What was the wattage of the other charger?
Did you try to reinstall the computer?

I agree, its not the other charger. But on occation I notice that closing the lid does NOT cause to enter sleep mode. I always watch for the light through the fan to turn off after closing the lid. Depending on what software is running it may be unable to enter sleep mode, then usually a quick press of the button will force it.

It sounds like your computer ran its battery dry while chasing its tail with the lid closed.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm fairly certain that the battery itself was not dead. When I pressed the battery indicator button on the bottom of the laptop, all 5 lights lit up. And once I finally got it to turn on, it was at like 95% battery still.

I remember I had issues with sleep mode with my M11x R1, the computer would not go to sleep or would not come back from sleep (sleeping problems!)
I'd recommend to turn it completely off whenever you don't need your laptop to prevent this from happening.
I wonder if fixes were found to correct this?

Will do, I'll attempt to just turn it off every time that it's unplugged and I'm not using it now. Thanks!
