    1 - Go to C:\Users\L1qu1d\Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit or w.e it is on your computer.

    2- Open config.NFS11Save with Wordpad/notepad

    3- Configure it like this:

    [Hardware]
    AdapterNumber=0
    [Display]
    Width=1366
    Height=768
    ForceAniso=false
    HiResTextures=true
    MotionBlur=false
    DepthOfField=false
    FitToVertical=true
    GammaRamp=1.150
    [Settings]
    Webcam=
    ShadowMapLevel=0
    [Sound]
    SpeakerSetup=0
    HighQualFilters=0

    I now get 35-40 fps.

    Step 4- This might have helped but didn't check, set game to Priority level high!

    Happy Gaming!

    My mistake, I thought I had wrote it, its been tested on r1, it will prob help R2 as well, but I think R2 can enable a little bit more :)

    The game still looks great, other than motion blur u wont notice anything else :)

    my frames were a constant 15-22 fps, now are 35+ :)

    Also turn off any antivirus while playing, this game really chugs th cpu! I also tested it with overclocked graphics and the frames went up 4-5 frames at times :)

    You might need admin enabled, you might be setting it to Realtime, which gives access denied I believe :)

    Also you can try enabling ForceAniso=true I found out, but make sure you OC your video card, other wise it might have some hiccups!!!!

    Enjoy!!!! Expect more frame drops when playing as Police!!! :D

    Great game though

    consistently under 12 fps? or on and off? ??

    Intel HD graphics prob would do 3 or 4 frames if any lol It might be that you have it on power saver mode or have the video card on adaptive performance

    with this tutorial I can play it at 22-25 fps, I have an R1, the game have drops to 9-10 fps while racing (in some part of the races) even turning off all settings....I think this poor performance is because the optimization of the game, im sure our R1 or R2 can handle this game perfect if well optimized.

    Running on i7, I noticed that the game runs smoother (30~even 40+FPS) on 148~150 Mhz than 152+....... Wondered why o_O
