How the game runs on R2 i7?
I'm just too excited to have my limited edition delivered lol :x

N4S undercover runs on all highest settings on my r1 great, not sure how much they changed in the new one.
-
Yeah....... and maybe even NFS Shift too....... but NFS HP needs more CPU power isn't it?

I know that, I know that.....LOL
I'm rather interested with the in-game settings and framerate coz I'm worried that the CPU is a little weak even for i7 (SystemRequirementsLabs doesn't get a pass on recommended settings) -
no problem with all high setting, native resolution on r2 i7 without oc
-
REALLY??!!!
That really cheered me up!
Some people even faced the lagging problems with their GTS 250.....crazy lol!
Beginning to love alienware *giggles* -
this game consumes CPU alot, I'm playing on my R1, lowest setting (except the native resolution), it doesnt have much detail in setting btw.
average frames is 25 (18-32), sometimes it drops to 15 in some locations, playable I think
I'm looking for some solution to overlock the SU7300 over 1.7ghz >.< (could anybody give me advice in this case plz )
on my desktop (cpu e8400 3.0ghz, 4G Ram and 9600GT), this game runs smoothly (maxed out) with average 40 frames/s. -
Can it play without disc after install ? Kinda headache for M11x if need to keep plug in the external hardisk XD
Bought retail and on the way to my hand -
here is a video of high settings on the R2. it is playable but as you can see sometimes it does dip under 20 FPS.

hey thanks for the trailer! the gameplay looks smooth
maybe 25 fps is the threshold for me
BTW whats your CPU overclock? -
-
okay thanks then. I don't have to worry about that 166MHz coz i'm OC my CPU @ 158 lol

mmmmm?? I'm using Bad Company2/Red Alert 3 DVD and the installation lets me choose either DVD verification or Online Verification, and if I add my license key to my EA Download Manager I can download my games there without DVD verification, you can try that?
-
Oh, can be like that eh? Mb later back home and see
First time bought EA Retail disc -
and yea EA customer service is totally great!
I've formatted this laptop over 5 times and used up my Red Alert 3 license keys, contacted them and they added few more license limits again within few seconds! So if you are having problems don't hesitate to ask them -
IIRC setFSB is normally used for clocking when the bios doesn't allow it, however the M11x's "ID" is not recognized so the options don't work. I am not sure if there is anyone actively looking at this. -

Playing on R2 i5 (oc-ed @158) with 4GB ram and all setting at high, 1366x768 resolution. Facing some frame rate dropped during the gameplay but it's kinda random. Overally it's very smooth but too bad no AA -

I don't think the game is fully optimized isn't it?
