Okay so I am very interested in getting NES/SNES titles on my m11x to play around with while trying to go to sleep....only problem is I am a n00b at this and have done some research to no avail. I will give whoever writes me a brief guide on how to set this stuff up, including websites for the downloads and such, a +rep and slap on the back :D

I am sure its not hard, I just need to know where to go and how to set it up. Thanks guys

I don't think you can discuss emulators like MAME or NES ...etc on here due to legalities.

I think you can talk about emulators. Emulators themselves are not illegal... I think if anyone starts talking about ROMS or where to find ROMS then you cross over into that illegal part.

All I'll say about emulators is ... Google is your friend. - ;)

Snes9X is the best emulator I've seen so far. For the roms, you have to actually own the game cartridge for it to be legal.

Bsnes is the best and most advanced SNES emulator in existence (and I've tried them all). It is also regularly updated. Be sure to use the compatibility profile though. The accuracy profile is technically closer to actual SNES code in certain functions but the performance hit isn't worth it.
