I turned on my computer and all of a sudden the touchpad doenst work at all and neither do the left or right buttons!!!

I looked on device driver and it said it wasn't starting properly. So I uninstalled all of the device and reinstalled the driver! It still doesn't work!

No one else is having this problem, please help

    Hey there,
Even though I haven't experienced your problem, I might have a solution to it. Usually when uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, not all of the previous files will be completely removed from your registry and I suspect this to be the issue.
Download Driver Sweeper ( Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper) this is a great software that ensures complete removal of all driver files.
After installation, go to the device manager and uninstall the synaptics touchpad driver (if you have installed them again), then go to safe mode (press F8 during boot up) and run driver sweeper. Clean ALL files related to your touchpad and then go back and restart your system.
After logging in normally, go to the dell driver support site ( Dell - Support, download the drivers for your touchpad and install them.
    This should work!
    Good Luck!

If all else fails - make a backup of important files, reformat / reinstall.

You'll be amazed at how quick a fresh installation seems, too.
