    My r1 m11x sometimes freezes

    Hi, my laptop sometimes freezes so i have to turn it off by pushing the alienbutton, does this happen to anyone else? I always leave it overclocked

    R1? R2?

    My guess is that your overclock isn't stable. Turn it off, or if you have the R2 then drop the FSB down until stability returns. You might also see if re-seating your memory helps.

    EDIT: I'd also run diagnostics to see if that turns up anything. Reboot, F12 when the alien head logo appears and then choose Diagnostics.

    On my R1 this happend always after i leave my laptop turned on for over 24hrs. Deleted everything and installed windows 7 ultimate and i tried to re-create the freeze again.. So far 3 days switched on and nothing happened :)

    My pc freezes up when I use my firewire. Yes I know. I actually use my firewire... I cant seem to find the proper drivers for my firewire. I tried using the Dell website drivers but nothing. I have tried using the JS micron drivers from the JS micron website but still nothing. I tried the R2s drivers aswell.

    The firewire port worked before I formatted my computer.

    The problem with the firewire is that my pc locks up when I use my hdd to watch movies or copy stuff from it. I restart my pc and then I use the usb connector and everything works fine.
