It obviously needs HDMI (well or you can get an adapter but would prefer HDMI). I was looking at the ASUS VH236H Widescreen LCD:

    Buy.com - ASUS VH236H Widescreen LCD Monitor

It is on sale after all. Cheapest I've seen is 130 AR which is close to this, should I grab it? Going to game a lot so... 2ms on this is great? Suggestions?

Expect to play on Medium settings.
1920x1080 you're pushing that GPU to the max at the resolution. Maybe if you overclock the GPU but I know you will get some in game lag on certain games-->(current games)

I am gonna start a work/log thread I ordered parts for my M11x one of them being a 20inch Ultra Thin LED @ 1600x900
    Newegg.com - AOC E2043F Black / White 20" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 50,000,000:1

The lower the resolution the more room you will have to jack the graphics up.

I'm playing WoW at ultra and native res right now with 50-60+ FPS and I don't know about that AOC monitor... doesn't seem like a good deal.

(LOL) I wasn't suggesting you buy it. I linked it because I bought it and it was fairly cheap and led and ultra thin.

Those things actually mean something to me because I draw less power from the grid. This means more to me than 2ms and 1080p

vs. a standard asus monitor that is bigger and draws more power and produces more heat.

You're going to buy whatever you want dude,no one can make your mind up. I am just telling you I've been trolling the threads and from what I've read at that high of a resolution you're going to be pounding that card. I saw your sig and your card is OC'ed so that will help some but then take into account less FPS because of heat issues unless you have fans/cooling device for your laptop or are in ac controlled room.

If by native you mean 1366x768 thats way diff than 1920x1080 dude. Just because the card plays on ultra at native doesnt mean "everything is ok at 1920x1080"

Perhaps I am wrong and some 1920x1080 owners can chime in. Once you buy it please do tell what your FPS are at ultra settings at that resolution on your m11x

On my R1 I had no problems playing in 1080p. If you have a good deal I'd say go for it. Even better results should be expected from the R2.
