I understand that the rubber foot falling off the M11x is a common issue but one that is not easily solved as the the entire base needs to be replaced in order to remedy it. I called Alienware about this issue and another concerning a blemish on my screen. I was told that under my Complete Care Warranty that there would be no problem with having the screen replaced or repaired but that there was only a 50% chance that rubber foot issue would be dealt with. I would really like the rubber foot issue dealt with as it is not simply a "cosmetic issue" as the tech support person said. Is there anything I can do guarantee that something is done?

As far as I'm concerned that is considered a cosmetic issue, however is you are located in the US or CA you can try e-mailing [email protected] with your tag and phone and we'll be glad to help you with that. Please let us know your tag, phone and a brief description of the issue.

I wouldn't call it "cosmetic" at all. Not in the slightest.

Without the rubber feet you lose the clearance between base + desk surface which means higher temps, it's not being held firmly in place so i'd imagine you would get scratches on the underside of your chassis, and without the grip you're not able to use one hand to open the lid without the entire laptop moving around the table.

If my feet fall off before my warranty expires i'll be chasing Dell to the ends of the earth to get replacements sent out, i think it's foolish to call something "cosmetic" which has a practical use on the underside of the chassis where it's not even visible.

I'm just referring to policies Rishwin. I know sometimes it is hard to understand why but even with the complete care warranty it is not normally covered.
