    McAfee for the M11x?

    So I am about to order the M11x R2 (i7) right now but I am not sure if I should get McAfee? I don't know much about anti virus programs...used to have Norton but now I just use the free version of Avast. So if anyone can share their experience with it, ill appreciate it.

    Should I stick with the free ones or get McAfee? Also how does it affect overall performance (gaming)?

    You're going to want to skip McAfee and go with something like Microsoft Security Essentials, AVAST, Nod32 or Avira. McAfee is a resource hog.

    i use microsoft security esstentials. Its less of a resource hog than mcafee. +1 :D

    first thing i did when i got mine was uninstalled mcafee and put on avg

    i was forced to get mcafee :(
