My m11xR2 i5 is for some reason not using all of its cores and threads. Its supposed to be a dual core, 4 thread processor, but CPU-Z is only detecting 1 core and 2 threads.

And a guy on NeoGAF's laptop help thread said that my task manager should have four boxes at the top right instead of the two shown here:

Anyone have any idea what is wrong? Or better yet how to fix it?

I'm not sure how I can help but the difference according to CPU-Z between me and you is that my Stepping is 2 and the Revision is C2 besides the obvious missing core and threads.
    I have an i5 btw.

I used ThrottleStop and it gave me worse performance

That's odd... do the i5's have some way of turning off Hyperthreading?

No, the post I linked has a fix. It just happens to be in the TS thread. Give unclewebb some rep if his suggestion fixes it.

So unclewebbs solution worked, I know have 2 Cores and 4 threads being detected on CPU-Z

but I went to run the Mafia II benchmark and it was saying my CPU speed is 1.34 Ghz. Shouldn't it be faster?

The speed of these CPUs can be very dynamic and many benchmarks don't report them correctly. Now that you've found your missing core, head back to the start of the Supercharge thread and see if you can find a little more performance. ThrottleStop should report the speed of your CPU accurately.
