Please post in this thread your system configuration and default 3dMarkVantage results.
For me:
M11xR2, Core i7, OC @ 164MHz, 4GB Ram, GPU - No OC
3DMark score: 3020
CPU score: 5400
Graphics score: 2634

Anyone care to contribute?

^I think that one is for R1s and this one is for R2s http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m11x/492232-m11x-r2-benchmarks.html, but as MaiKuxDin implied, searching before making a thread is your friend

oh lol you're corwinicre xD thanks

Yes, actually I saw both threads but the first one is for M11XR1 and the second one didn't actually include any Vantage scores (though it has multiple 3DMark 2006 scores). That's why I started this thread.
People talk about "turning PhysX off" for the Vantage tests. How do they do it? The only option that I have for PhysX is to set it for CPU or GPU... -
I'll update on this since I OC'ed GPU a bit using EVGA Precision.
I posted the same results on the thread you linked earlier, though there still are no Vantage results on that thread other than the one I just posted.
CPU OC @ 164 MHz, Turboboost and SpeedStep enabled.
GPU OC @ 500/1200/850
Drivers: Latest Dell drivers from the website (not the modded 258.96)
3D Mark Vantage: 3305 -

Looks pretty good to me, the highest any R1 owner has been able to pull on Vantage is 3300ish and that was with a ridiculously high OC on the gpu and the OC on the CPU to max. He also tweaked a few other things like using non-Dell drivers I believe. So if you're running Dell drivers with a mild OC on your GPU those look like good numbers.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Now installing the newest modded drivers (259.22) to see if it's going to have any effect on Vantage and 2006 performance.

One of the reasons it's low is because Vantage is the most recent FutureMark benchmarking program. Also in order to get a final P score, you need to run the program and the default settings. Meaning you need to hook up to an external monitor. Default resolution is 1280x1024 which the M11x can't run. Also you can turn off all the feature tests which should save some time. It's in the "options" tab on the left. Then go to "Feature tests" Then click each of the six to cross them off the test list.
Also make sure you download the most recent Vantage, or if you have a copy of it, be sure to download the 3DMark06_v120_patch_1901 patch. This will considerably speed up the load times. At the moment I'm to lazy to rerun Vantage to take the top spot for the R1 owners. Too busy with the M17x. It would be interesting to see the R2 results though.
Originally I was going to track the R2 Benchmarks in the same thread, but another thread was created, and no one showed interest. The R1 threads been dormant for over a month, but I would still be willing to track them if enough interest was shown.
Also in my R1 benchmarks I used all the stock dell drivers that shipped with the original R1. Never bothered updating. The first dell drivers gave the best scores I believe and were less of a headache.
EDIT: Also to turn off physix you need to go into the nvidia control panel. Should be able to turn it off from there. If you don't it will inflate your CPU score. For a better and more comparable CPU score it should be off. Most benchmarkers leave it off for that reason and it's is off for competitions too.
