M11xR1 No longer 599?

When did this deal end?

 

Because its a deal? you dont expect that alienware put 600 bucks as stock price dont you?

 

I already went on the site and put on in my cart. It lists at $799.00 but no longer gives the $200.00 instant off to make it $599.00 (then stack the $50.00 off coupon too). Just wondering if this deal had ended. I thought it ran until the end of December. Maybe I'll end up with the 11.6 air...

 

you should check...im not really sure but like I said its a cupon so is forever.

I'm checking it now and it looks like the C2D version is back to 799, and the $200 discount is transferred to the icore configuration the last one to the right and it expires on dec 30th 2010.

 

general Dell sales run Thursday through the following Wednesday. Some sales last for multiple weeks. But it looks like the $600 C2D deal expired last night.

If you don't like the deals this week, there's always next week.

I wouldn't be surprised if the deals came back in a week or two, to help pump sales for Christmas. I wanted to buy an SSD, but missed out on the Black Friday / Cyber Monday rebaates being offered by OCZ. I figure that if I just wait another week or so, those deals will come back.

 

Same thing happend to me about a month ago I was about to get a i7 version when they were running 20% off when your purchase was over $1300 ofcourse when I went to buy it the next day it was over..

I ended up locking in on the $599 deal for the R1 and happy to say im typing on this awsome lil machine now and love it!

Wow. I also noticed that they advertised the sale to go through to 12/18. Didnt think they would sell out. Hope mine didnt get delayed because of this. Where did you go to chat with a Dell rep? I looked all over their site but couldnt find it.

 

Eh just pretend like your creating a new system and there is usually a floating box at the bottom that says chat with a rep. If not I will look I believe there is a link at the very bottom that says something about chat.

 

Cool. I didnt think about that. I remember when I was buying my system that damn box was annoying the crap out of me so I just kept closing it. How ironic that it can now be helpful!

 

Yeah lol I was the same always closing out of it until I had a question and was like whoa maybe this is actually useful and not annoying...
