    Just two questions!

    1) How can you turn off all the lights on the system including the backlit keyboard etc? Any FN + shortcut key?

    2) How do you change the alienware background (not the wallpaper of desktop) the one that appears when you are shutting your computer down or starting it up. Also the one with the windows 7 login background.

    windows 7 login picture... there is a 3rd party program for that which I used to really customize my m11x.

    What about the red chrome skull that appears when you start your computer? Can u change that?

    6pm this evening. Still installing everything as I replaced the drive immediately and did a clean install. Kinda regretting it now that bedtime is fast approaching (I get up at 4.30 for work)

    That's been asked before and when we had a regular AW rep here he stated that there wasn't a way to change or turn that screen off. Some older Dell laptops used to have a utility for changing it if I recall correctly. That rep said he'd look into that, but has since moved on.

    Or something like that...
