    Hi guys.
I got my m11x in the mail today, played with it for a little while, then left. I just closed the lid so it would go to sleep. When i came back, i opened the m11x and it started forgetting my face in the AlienSense thing and it automatically shut down after trying to close the AlienSense window. I turned it back on and saw that the screen, even on the native screen resolution, looked obviously blurry. So i thought playing a game of portal would straighten things out. But, when it opened, it was in a small window in the middle of my screen, and it automatically crashed when i clicked on it.

    Help.

first off just disable aliensense...you don't really need it.
secondly, set the PC to do nothing when you close the notebook.

I would suggest turning the notebook off (not sleep) if you are going to let it idle more than 20 minutes.

I also recommend what thegh0sts said; I never use Alien(non)sense to begin with- it forgets who I am if I don't shave. ;) I usually put it into hibernate if I have it on battery and I leave it alone for more than 30 minutes.

Hello. I'd like to offer my help with AlienSense (I work for Sensible Vision - the manufacturer). To start, whenever you are not recognized quickly (which will happen every once in a while), log in with your password while the blue "alien head" outline is visible around your face. AlienSense uses a learning algorithm that will actually store many different versions of how you look. It learns when you log in. If there's anything else I can do, please let me know.

Does rebooting resolve the issue? If not you could try to see if your laptop is trying to extend the desktop to some external display. Press the windows key + P and choose disconnect projector. If the issue is non of the above we could check to see if its a driver issue. Most probably Aliensense messed up and a reboot will fix everything.
