I've gotten this game during the steam sale and I always seem to blue screen crash from just barely getting the first 5 minutes of game. From what I remember the blue screen kept saying something about the graphics adapter being disconnected. Which is weird considering I can play hours of any other game except this one.

I've white listed the Witcher as well so what do I do? Does the Witcher 2 have the same problem?

    Are you CPU/GPU overclocked?

Try running Stock and see what happens, TW:EE is pretty, well, I guess the work would be "Unstable". (At least, thats how it feels to me) The Folks who made it pushed the Bioware Auroura engine to it's limit.

I have the R2, with i5, and without overclock is playable, but it has its jumps it can go from 50fps to 25 in a few seconds, most of the time 35-40 fps

I tried playing it without overclocking but it still blue screen crashes in the intro.

First error said something went wrong with Windows and the 2nd error said that "attempt to reset display driver and and recover from timeout failed".

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the main 335m drivers too so anyone know what to do?

What driver are you using now? I stick with 267.76 now because it seems like the most stable driver (for me)

    Am using the 285.62

I assume I need to download software for that right?
