Hey I'm buying a i7 r2 for 300$ but the thing is the back cover is pretty beat up, it is replaceable right? I looked in the manual but there isn't a guide on how to remove the LCD screen. The only thing i can think is the LCD is stuck to the back cover itself.

Do you mean the bottom plate or the lid? The bottom plate comes right off with some screws (it is your only access panel) otherwise the lid is a single part so there are no "official" guides on taking it apart. But it's not meant to be taken apart, so you really do need the proper expertise and tools (you would have to remove all of the adhesive slowly and replace with hot glue or epoxy) and find a guide somewhere.

It is do-able, but just know what you're getting into. It's not meant to be taken apart, is it not easy, and there isn't really a margin for error because you are forcing it apart so anything could happen.

Rishwin is right that its a sealed unit, while you can take it apart, the lcd screen is double sided taped (stong tape) to the clear cover. I have seen many people who try to take them apart only to crack the lcd glass.

If you choose to try it, be very carefull.

To add to what Porras and the others said, to replace the back cover you will need to remove the LCD assembly. Which requires a lot of tear-down and without the experience and tools you may have additional problems besides the LCD. Here's the service manual as a guide. The back cover is sealed to the LCD. So as Rishwin & Ejohnson said be very careful because you will be forcing that.
