This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    M11x gone from uk site - is this the end?

    Anyone know if it's going to be coming back? I've read thats it's being discontinued but the dell rep I spoke to thought it would come back

    Gone i'm afraid i spoke to Dell they said it had been discontinuted!

    Been on there a while though and in the last week they have been giving pretty awesome deals on it. Remaining stock will probably be kept for warranty purposes. :(

    Looks like I will be moving to clevo eventually then, no R4 I will sell my R3 and get the 11 inch model.

    They've still got it on the Alienware site here in the States, do you think it will vanish soon?

    It has already been announced as discontinued, it just takes a while to disappear from the different Dell sites because obviously each region has different levels of stock and would run out faster/slower depending on their local demand.

    When the R1 & R2 were discontinued they went on a massive clearance, but with no newer model succeeding the R3 there is really no reason for them to do that this time; They know it's in short supply so if people want to get their hands on a new one before they're all gone, then they will pay the asking price.

    If it's a bargain you're after, used units are the way to go ;)
