    M11x doesnt wake after i close the lid?

    Hey guys!

    so its pretty simple, when i close the lid of the m11x, and then open it back up the computer is on and running, but the screen never comes on no matter what i do. i have to restart any time....can anyone give me a solution or explanation?

    go to alienware alienfx control panel and fix your screen settings

    Is this a R1? If so do you have graphics switching turned off in the bios (use only discreet graphics)?

    Just wondering... could be an issue in your power options.
    Right click battery -> Power Options -> Choose what to do when closing the lid (left side).

    Mess around in there. I have had it set to "do nothing" for the past 2 years so I have no idea where else to tackle this situation.

    I had the same issue, I believe it has to do with using the Nvidia drivers...I also had to set my screen options to do nothing.
