Are there any cooling fans that do the m11x justice. The one I am looking at is the belkin one that has the U shape and the fan sits in the middle of that to create more airflow. I'm afraid that it is bigger than the m11x and would like something that fits more flush with it. height I don't care really.

    Thoughts?

Why would you need an extra fan for the R1?

Agreed. The R1's temperatures are already very low even when overclocked.

Highly Recommend Zalman NC series...i got the NC1000 and it is great.

i been on vacation for the past month, and temps regularly exceed 74-78 degrees C on GPU, and with my zalman pad, it never tops 65 at home.....

Ditto -- I used this for my XPS m1330 and now with my M11x. It's been working strong for 1.5+ years with great results.

best cooler ever with adjustable fans and a strap to hold your laptop in place as well as having holes all through the bottom, perfect for the gpu exhaust fan. I plan on modding it to put a 120 mm fan on the bottom, oh and its aluminum :) gpu oc'd to gpu 580, shader 1400, mem 870. stays at 45-50 Celsius cold to the touch. Highly recommend!

The U2 isn't too big? They have the U1 which is meant for a laptop the size of the M11x.

dude coolmaster U2 or U1 you put the fans where you need them! I ran 5 hours of continuous gaming last night with my GPU OC'ed to 500/1200/850, never dropped below 51 Celsius, cold to the touch. I'm telling you I've tried em all this one is the real deal....

And I wonder what tables or support people use to play. Because now I can only play on my lap. And keep the fan open to receive air

I have the coolmaster u2 as well. It is a really good fit, and I highly recommend it. It's really nice to be able to adjust the fans to wherever you need them.

I just got one, what are the best areas to put them? Currently I have both in the default center position with my laptop centered on the pad.

What are your temps during browsing? Mines around 50c-54c fully OC'ed R2 i5.

Jumps to 60-65 playing an hour of Mafia 2.

While its far from needed, I use this as it makes for a nice on the go lap board and also angles the keyboard nicely. When pushing the m11x to the limit it keeps it cooler then not, but def not a needed accessory for an m11x since they do in fact run very cool.
